Amir…which WCF binding are you using? I have not been able to get anything except basicHttpBinding to work.

First of all thanks! It helped me make some progress but i’m stuck with this error… are you familiar with that?

IIS specified authentication schemes ‘Basic, Anonymous’, but the binding only supports specification of exactly one authentication scheme. Valid authentication schemes are Digest, Negotiate, NTLM, Basic, or Anonymous. Change the IIS settings so that only a single authentication scheme is used.

BTW, following up on 5 | Mark above. I had the same problem at first. I was trying to do on-demand compile of my service. After I figured out to precompile first, the three steps started working. So I assume there is something that provides the reference to System.ServiceModel when I do run the service locally.

I also had to futz with some of the system.WebServer settings. You have to guess about what lower level config settings they are using.
